The Stavanger Cathedral is, according to their website, the oldest preserved cathedral in Norway. It was completed around 1125, and services have been held for almost 900 years. Parts have been destroyed in a fire, but was rebuilt. Until the reformation hit Norway it was catholic, but it changed to Lutheran. During the summer, the cathedral is a huge tourist attraction, but is still used for weddings, baptism, concerts, confirmations and regular services.
