The Stavanger Cathedral by light

Stavanger Domkirke

The only picture I’ve posted of the Cathedral was a bad one, taken in the dark. This is taken in the end of May 2013, and is a greener and lighter picture.

The back-end of the Cathedral (showing in the picture) was originally destroyed in a fire in 1272, and rebuilt around 1300. This is the main reason why the Cathedral has contrasting architectural styles on the different parts of the church.
