Mountains and fjords – oh my.

DSCN2060 kopi

The picture was taken from rv45, on the way to Easter holiday in March, 2013. It’s taken shortly before a tunnel that leads down to the small town of Dirdal in Gjesdal Municipality.

This is looking out on the fjords Høgsfjord and Frafjord, and is where Frafjord becomes its own fjord, beginning from Høgsfjord. The oddly shaped mountain, with water on several sides, is known as Ramnstoknuten – (According to the maps, I’ve never actually known the name of it before looking it up for this).
