In the middle of August 2014, I moved to the south of Norway to study. After moving down, I spent a day in Dyreparken with some of the people I study with. Dyreparken (or Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park as they call it on their english websites) is a Zoo and an Amusement park outside of Kristiansand, where one can see many different animals in their own habitat.
The park works closely with World Wild-life Foundation, to save animals in danger of extinction, like the Nordic lynx, wolf and wolverine. They refer to the park as “The Living Park”, and write that “The Living Park is a place to be remembered – a park to be revisited…”.
