Skiingtrip in Sirdal

Snø sirdalWhen the weather is cold enough, the frost can make the trees (and other parts of the nature) look pretty amazing. This picture was taken in January of 2010 in Sirdal, which was one of the coldest weekends that year, with temperatures down to a –30 degrees Celsius during the night, and around –25 degrees Celsius during the day. Skiing in –20-25 degrees was a bit frosty, and we had to stop to remove ice from one of the skis and a skiing pole where the end had frozen completely.
