This is the view from the Round Tower in Copenhagen. It’s a tower where the way up is mainly a spinal ramp, until the last bit where there is some steps.The tower was built between 1637 and 1642 by Christian IV (or probably after his orders…), and is, according to the towers website, the oldest functioning astronomy observatory in Europe.
This photo was taken in late June 2012, and it was pretty windy that day. So maybe not wear a dress or a skirt if it’s windy the day you plan to go to the top. But I recommend the visit, the view is pretty amazing.
