The Holy Trinity Church in Skipton

holy trinity church skiptonThe Holy Trinity Church in Skipton lies right between the roundabout on High Street and Skipton Castle. The present church building dates from about 1300, but has been partly damaged and rebuilt multiple times over the years (according to wikipedia it was struck by lightning twice).

This picture of the entrance to the church area was taken in early June 2013, and it was a simply beautiful day to wander about around the church and pop into the church to see how the inside looked.
