Snowy mountains in Eastertimes

Snø og fjell gravvatn

This picture was taken last Easter (late April 2015) up in the mountains of Sirdal in Vest-Agder. Last year the Easter was late (in the time period it usually occurs) but there was still a lot of snow.

The classic Easter holiday in Norway should contain a skiing trip, with hot chocolate, oranges, and a chocolate called Kvikk Lunsj (similar to Kit Kat bars). One of the perks of an Easter in the mountains is the snow combined with sunny weather, as it often is in Easter (so remember sun block and sunglasses, the sun reflects in the snow).
